For ultra-fine bearings in instruments & precision mechanical devices
- Micro and ultra-fine turned parts in the range from 0.1 mm to 20 mm diameter
Bar turning, known as bar turning in Switzerland, is a process for producing parts by automatic turning and machining. Both conventional and CNC-controlled machines are used. Schneider-Hegi AG manufactures micro and ultra-fine turned parts in the range from 0.1 mm to 20 mm diameter on three different types of machines:
ringturning machines (Escomatik D2, D4) |
For the production of large series of up to 10 million parts with diameters from 0.2 mm to 4 mm |
cam controlled, mechanic driven long lathe machines (Tornos M4, M7, R10) |
For the production of series of 500 parts to 10 million parts with a diameter of 0.3 mm to 10 mm |
CNC-long lathe machines (Tornos-Delta 12, Hanwha 12 und 20, Star 12) |
For the production of series from 500 parts with a diameter of 0.3 mm to 20 mm. Below this quantity by separate agreement |
In addition, Schneider-Hegi AG offers a wide rage of further productions options through surface finishing, assembly and logistics.
